RE: Polishing Aluminum Wheels

If the rim is stamped "Accuride" they CAN be polished. If there's an Accushield decal on the rim it's clear coated and should NOT be polished. If you're still not sure, confirm the part number stamped in the rim on Accuride's website to confirm whether it's an Accuride or Accushield rim.

RE: Absorbed Glass Matt Batteries

I have Optima AGM starting batteries and Discovery AGM house batteries. They fit EXACTLY in the foot print of the OEM wet cells. It was the very first improvement I made after delivery. It was worth every cent for their performance and convenience. The OEM 2000w Dimensions inverter does a fine job of maintaining them. I use a Xantrex Echo Charger to ensure both are maintained with the same charging profile while on shorepower.

SmartTire's system requires 2oz of weigth opposite of the sensor.
Where did you find that information? My system is not installed that way. However, the tires were reseated with an equal packet inside each.

RE: Need help with sealed battery installation

The selector switch is a tiny black slide type on the right-hand side of the inverter. The left-hand side has the cooling fan in it. The front being the side with the inverter circuit breakers. If your battery bank is 300A or larger you should have the switch set to B.

RE: Surge Protection

Yes, it works with 50/30/20/15A service when you use the appropriate adapter when plugging it into the shore power pedestal if it's a portable unit. If it's a hard wired unit, the adapter will be used on the end of the SP cord.

RE: refrigerator side vent- pest control?

I've been using bay leaves and a Hartz flea collar cut into pieces inside a small plastic container. I drilled lots of 3/8" holes in the container for ventilation. I change the contents every 6 months and have not had any uninvited guests in over 2 years.

2nd year annual service

2007 Spartan Mountain Master chassis - 40' Tiffin Allegro Bus
This is the list of service to be performed by Cummins Power South in Ocala, FL. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
Cummins 2nd year annual service list
The alignment will be performed after Cummins' service at a tire facility once I've determined if new shocks and possibly front wheels and tires are needed (trying to improve front ride comfort). The basic annual inspections and lubrications will be performed by me and are not included on the Cummins service list.

RE: TiffinRVNetwork

I also had issues with logging on to TRVN after the server change. Others also had the problems and are still experiencing them. I switched my browser from MS Internet Explorer to FireFox and I haven't had those issues since. IE is still giving me grief. Contact admin@tiffinrvnetwork.com for further assistance in getting things resolved.

RE: MH Storage

FSSS is secure, at least where I store my coach indoors. There is a locked gate with personal ID#s to open the main entry and exit gates, there is only limited business hour access to the storage building which can only be opened by a staff member accompanying you and there are LOTS of monitored security cameras and lighting. Not all facilities are created equal.
